Through ACT, you can learn to be more aware and intentional in making choices in your life, open to your experience with less struggle, and engaged with your life. This fourth class focuses on building awareness of what you get hooked by in your daily life and also an introduction to some ideas on how you might get unhooked from the thoughts and feelings that can lead you astray from what’s most important to you. Below are you some exercises that you can do to apply what we talked about in todays class.
Noticing practice: To do as you go about your day. No extra time needed.
Weekly exercise and daily reflection: The daily reflection is to be completed on a daily basis at night or in the morning. Set aside some time to do the weekly exercise in one sitting.
